Heater Resistance Checks

NOTE: For dispense valve and hose sensor resis-

tance checks, refer to your dispense valve manual

or hose manual.

To check heater resistance:

1. Make sure the power is off and that the disconnect

switch is in the OFF position.

2. Make electrical resistance checks for the compo-

nents. Refer to Table 7. Heater terminal pins are

located on the back of the enclosure (H). See F

. 2,

page 8.

3. Replace any parts whose resistance readings do

not comply with the ranges listed in Table 7.

NOTE: Check resistance at ambient room tempera-

ture (63°– 77°F [17°– 25°C]

Conduct these electrical checks with the main power

disconnect OFF.
